So far I’ve flown 2 international flights, 6 domestic flights, and drove around a bunch with my Away luggage. After reading this review, I’ll have you convinced that it’s worth the extra money to have a long-lasting travel companion for years to come.
Durable and Flexible
Like I said, I’ve flown around so much with this luggage, and it’s still perfectly intact. The only problem I have is that it gets dirty, and my luggage is pink. I try and wipe it down between uses so that it stays pretty. The hard shell itself is extremely flexible, so it’s quite easy to close even if you over pack.
Easy to Compact
There’s a net on one side where I like to put things that may fall out if opened such as hair tools and shoes. The other side is where I like to place my clothes because they also have a “screen” so to speak that you can place over your clothes and use straps to tighten and compact your clothes.
Pro Tip: Roll instead of fold your clothes to save space.
Built-in TSA Lock
I always use the TSA lock, even when abroad, and I never had an issue. I don’t like the thought of people going through my luggage. It’s nice to have the ability to keep it locked and not worry about security issues.
Removable Charger
The Away Carry-On comes with a charging station under the handle. This is so useful when it comes to long layovers or long flights. It’s also important that your luggage’s lithium battery is removable in case your bag must be checked.
Insanely Cute
You’ll get compliments everywhere you go with this luggage, just like I did! I love it so much myself, and most don’t even know about the amazing hidden features.
I’m only writing this because of the love for my Away luggage and because I believe you should make this investment. I’d write a cons list, but there’s nothing to put on it!!
I have The Carry-On and The Medium in Blush. Buying the bigger version of either is unnecessary, so save some money there. They both have plenty of room as is.

Somewhat disappointed
My first trip with new bag
Plane site check and bottom is full of scratches.
There is no protection and seems material takes scratches easy

Although I haven’t received any major scratches, I receive so many scuff marks each trip. I clean the bags with a magic eraser in between to keep them nice and pretty. My luggage is pink, so it’s super obvious.
