4 Daily & Weekly Care Tips for Eyelash Extensions
- Use oil-free face products and refrain from touching your lashes.
Oils will breakdown the lash adhesive. It’s important to keep all oils from makeup to face wash to your fingers away from your lashes.
- To maintain a strong lash bond and keep clean of bacteria and infection, clean around your lash line daily.
Using an oil-free cleanser, completely saturate a Q-tip and wipe along your lash line and corner of your eye. Saturating the q-tip is key so that the cotton does not snag on the lash extensions.
- Brush your lashes when they’re completely dry.
It’s best to brush your lashes daily to help the process of your lashes falling out in cycle. Only do this when your lashes are dry so that you do not pre-maturely brush out an extension.
- Deep clean your lashes 2-3x per week with a lash extension cleanser.
You’ll need a lash extension cleanser and brush duo, as linked here! This step is so important to maintain clean, long-lasting lashes. A few lashes will fall out, but this is completely normal. This deep clean maintains the integrity of your lash adhesive by removing oils that could break it down.
